When it is time to replace the UV lamp?

UV lamps from Emperor Aquatics need to be replaced after 11 months of operation.  If you shut down your pond for the winter, you may only need to replace your lamp once every 1.5 to 2 years.

When the UV lamp wears out, you will notice that your Koi pond will start to turn green or brown.  When you replace your UV lamp, the pond should clear up within a few days.
